Garden Farming in Ghana

This project will launch in March 2026 and will establish community-based garden farming sites in Ghana that combine hands-on training with the introduction of improved and nutrient-rich vegetable and fruit varieties to strengthen food security, nutrition, and livelihoods. Through demonstration gardens, practical workshops, and starter seed distribution, participants—such as smallholder farmers, youth, and schools—will learn sustainable gardening techniques including soil improvement, water-efficient irrigation, pest management, and seed saving. The program will comply fully with Ghana’s agricultural and plant health regulations, work with local partners and extension services, and build local capacity so communities can sustainably grow diverse crops, improve household diets, and generate income from surplus produce.

RE-FLY: Regenerative Energy Flywheel for Local Yield

RE-FLY: Regenerative Energy Flywheel for Local Yield

A flywheel-based energy program can  turn locally available energy—sun, wind, water, and human labor—into durable, community-owned infrastructure that enables productive work. By prioritizing income-generating uses such as milling, pumping, and cold storage, and combining long-life flywheels with minimal batteries, the program reduces dependency on imported technology while building local skills, ownership, and reinvestment capacity. The result is a self-reinforcing economic loop in which reliable power creates productivity, productivity creates income, and income expands infrastructure—restoring dignity, resilience, and long-term momentum to village economies.

Clean Water for Togo Village

RE-FLY: Regenerative Energy Flywheel for Local Yield

Redeeming Economies is launching a Community Clean Water Well Program in a remote village in Togo to provide safe, reliable drinking water while also supporting local crop production and food security.  Access to clean water will significantly reduce waterborne diseases, keep children—especially girls—in school, and free women’s time for family care and income-generating activities. In addition, dependable water will enable small-scale irrigation, increasing crop yields, strengthening livelihoods, and improving household nutrition.
